Last year I heard an interesting idea about how to make a New Year's Resolution that really means something and that you can actually accomplish... They said you should pick "One Word" that will be your focus, your goal for yourself. It would be an adjective so you could work towards it. My word for 2011 was "Worthy".
My word for 2012 is "Peaceful".
I was considering "simplify", but that wasn't an adjective so I decided to use the action simplify as something I will do to achieve being peaceful.
Anyway, I encourage you to think about what your One Word for 2012 might be...
Happy New Year! (Whatever that may be for you!)
Kim
I like your word Kim and I really like your post. I've given it some thought and want to focus this year on the word "grateful". I've got a lot in my life to be "grateful" for. I'm healthy. My husband is working daily to be a partner and friend. My children are healthy and happy. My job is rewarding and satisfying. I am blessed with true friends that love and support me through anything. For those things I am extremely "grateful".
